To note that Councillor J.Dean as Leader of the Council is appointed Chairman of the Cabinet.

It was noted that Councillor J.Dean as Leader of the Council was appointed Chairman of the Cabinet.

An apology for absence was received from Councillor B.Sarson (Executive Member, Business, Partnerships and Public Health).

To appoint Cabinet Panels, Committees and Boards for 2016/17 as set out in Appendix A.

RESOLVED:

That Cabinet Panels, Committees and Boards for 2016/17 be appointed as set out in Agenda item 4 (Appendix A).

To appoint representatives to executive outside bodies for 2016/17 as set out in Appendix B. 

There are more nominations than places for representatives on those bodies where an Executive Member is not required and it is for the Cabinet to decide on these appointments.

The Cabinet noted that there were more nominations than places for appointments on those bodies where an Executive Member representative was not required.

RESOLVED:

That the Conservative Group nominees demoted by (C) be appointed to serve as representatives on the outside bodies for 2016/17 as shown listed in Agenda item 5 (Appendix B).
