Apologies were received from Councillor Max Holloway and Councillor Frank Marsh.

To confirm as a correct record the minutes of the meeting held on Monday 11 January 2021.

The minutes of the meeting held on 11 January 2021 were approved as a correct record.

The Panel is asked to resolve:

That under Section 100(A) (2) and (4) of the Local Government Act 1972, the press and public be now excluded from the meeting for item 4 to 7 on the grounds that it involves the likely disclosure of confidential or exempt information as defined in Section 100A (3) and paragraph 3 (private financial or business information) of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the said Act (as amended).

In resolving to exclude the public in respect of the exempt information, it is considered that the public interest in maintaining the exemption outweighs the public interest in disclosing the information.

To receive an update on the proposed business recovery plans for Campus West during 2021.

The Panel received a presentation from the Head of Policy and Culture and the General Manager – Campus West to update Members on Campus West business recovery plans for 2021.

AGREED

The Panel noted the contents of the report and recommended to Cabinet the approval of the proposed business recovery plan for Campus West over 2021.

The Panel received a presentation from the Finance Business Partner on the variances to budget and income targets for 2020-21 as at 28 February 2021.

AGREED

The Panel noted the financial position as at 28 February 2021.

The Panel received a presentation from the General Manager – Campus West on the proposals for a cashless option for Campus West.

AGREED

The Panel noted the intended switch to a cashless option on a date to be determined in the coming months.

The Panel noted that a review will be conducted at the end of March 2022 with a further update to be provided to the Panel on whether to make the switch permanent.
