To award a contract to M&A Installations Limited for urgent Mechanical and Electrical works at Inspira House.

(1)       To progress the following proposals to the formal stage of the consultation process (see Appendix A):

(a)   Proposals to introduce a resident permit scheme operating Monday – Friday, 8am – 6pm.

(b)   Proposals to formalise existing double yellow lines which are already marked on the highway and to introduce other sections of double yellow lines to address other safety concerns.

(c)   Proposals to introduce a Verge Protection Order which covers areas of footway and verges

(2)     For Officers to contact the Head at Howe Dell school to see if there any other considerations which need to be included, to facilitate short-term in the vicinity of the school.

Appropriation of properties for conversion to social housing.

Cabinet approved 106 Haldens and 185 Knightsfield be appropriated to the Housing Revenue Account, at best value of £725,000, to enable their use as social housing (subject to planning consent).
