EXCLUSION OF PRESS AND PUBLIC The Committee is asked to resolve:
That under Section 100(A)(2) and (4) of the Local Government Act 1972, the press and public be now excluded from the meeting for item 5 on the grounds that it involves the likely disclosure of confidential or exempt information as defined in Section 100A(3) and Paragraph 1 (personal information), 2 (individual identity) and 3 (private financial or business information) of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the said Act (as amended).
In resolving to exclude the public in respect of the exempt information, it is considered that the public interest in maintaining the exemption outweighs the public interest in disclosing the information. Minutes: RESOLVED:

DETERMINATION OF A REVIEW OF A HACKNEY CARRIAGE DRIVER LICENCE Exempt report of the Hackney Carriage Officer on the application for a review of a Hackney Carriage Driver’s Licence. Minutes: This meeting had been adjourned from 16 October 2017 at the request of Mr.P. (Minute 57 refers).
The Regulatory Support Officer presented the exempt report of the Executive Director (Public Protection, Planning and Governance) on the determination of a review of a Hackney Carriage Driver’s Licence.
The driver was in attendance for the hearing and was accompanied by a friend.
Following consideration of the evidence presented, both written and oral, the Committee
RESOLVED:
That while the incident reported warranted sanction, it did not warrant a revocation or a suspension, but was serious enough to warrant a written warning. |
