CHAIRMAN ANNOUNCEMENTS

Minutes:

The Chairman announced that the meeting timetable for the next Municipal would be confirmed at the Council’s Annual Council on 21 May 2018.  The proposed dates were Tuesday 16 October 2018 and Thursday 14 March 2019.

SOUTH CENTRAL GROWTH AND TRANSPORT PLAN

Minutes:

Members received a detailed presentation from Lindsey Lucas, Strategy and Programme Manager Mid Herts on the Hertfordshire County Council’s South Central Hertfordshire Growth and Transport Plans on what was a Growth and Transport Plan and its role as a bridge for the wider Central Growth and Transport Plans.

·           Evidence packs produced for Evidence Analysis and Objectives

·           GTP objectives align with the objectives of the parent document, LTP4.

·           Central Growth and Transport Plan

 

The GTP preparation began in spring 2017 and public consultation is expected to be carried out later in 2018.

FOOTWAYS ASPECTS AND RINGWAY'S SEASONAL UPDATE

Minutes:

Rob Payne of Ringway gave a presentation on the different aspects of the Ringway contract on footways, plus seasonal update and outline of what had been delivered, the challenges which had been overcome, planned works programmes, and proposed service improvements.
